Brand Carousel Skill
Brand Carousel Skill Download
What this does
This skill teaches Claude to turn your posts, newsletters, or talking points into a branded, multi-slide carousel (PDF, one page per slide) in a style you set up once — colors, fonts, logo — and it remembers from then on. You can also get the same content as individual PNGs or an MP4 later, just by asking.
Before you start
⚠️ Turn on "Code execution and file creation" first. This skill needs it to actually build anything — without it, nothing will happen and you won't get an error message explaining why.
Go to claude.ai and click your name/initials (bottom left) → Settings
Go to Capabilities
Turn on "Code execution and file creation"
Do this before installing the skill.
Optional, but good to have ready:
Your brand colors (hex codes if you have them)
A headline/body font file (.ttf or .otf)
A logo or graphic saved as a transparent PNG
You don't need any of this yet — Claude will ask, and "I don't know yet" is a fine answer.
⚠️ One note on fonts: if you supply your own font file, make sure you're actually licensed to use it this way. Most free fonts downloaded off random sites aren't cleared for this. Safe bets: Google Fonts, or anything marked OFL (Open Font License). If you're not sure, don't add it — ask first.
Step 1: Install the skill
Download the zip file from the link above
Leave it zipped — don't unzip it, Claude.ai wants the .zip file itself
In Claude.ai, go to Settings → Customize → Skills
Click the "+" button, then "+ Create skill"
Upload the .zip file as-is
Make sure the toggle next to the skill is switched on
Step 2: Set it up (takes about 5 minutes)
Start a new chat in Claude and paste this exactly:
I just installed my Brand Carousel skill and it's not set up yet. Walk me through the setup questions in the skill so we can lock in my fonts, colors, format, and sizing, then build me a test carousel with it.
Claude will ask you a short list of questions — fonts, colors, platform/size, logo, slide count, page numbers, etc. Answer what you can; skip what you don't know yet. Claude fills everything in for you. You don't need to open or edit any files by hand.
Step 3: Run your first test
Once setup is done, ask Claude to build a test carousel using the built-in sample content (it's included in the skill package). This lets you check your fonts, colors, and sizing against real content before you use your own.
Step 4: Use it going forward
From here on, just say something like:
"Turn this post into a carousel."
Claude applies your saved brand style automatically — no need to re-explain your fonts, colors, or logo each time.
If something goes wrong
Nothing happens when you ask for a carousel → Go back and check Settings → Capabilities → "Code execution and file creation" is turned ON. This is the #1 cause of the skill not working.
The skill doesn't show up after uploading → Make sure you uploaded the .zip file itself, not an unzipped folder.
The carousel doesn't look right → Just tell Claude what's off ("make the headline font bigger," "the logo has a white box around it") — it can fix your saved settings directly, you don't need to start over.
You want to change your brand setup later (new color, new font, new size) → Just tell Claude in any carousel chat. It updates your saved spec for you.
Files disappear when you close the chat → Download anything you want to keep before ending the conversation — generated files don't carry over between chats.
